Fresh Lamb for Sale (but for 2009)

Written by Andrew on October 1st, 2008

Update: I’m sorry to say that for a number of reasons this didn’t pan out for this year. However, I am confident that I’ll be able to offer this for next year if there’s sufficient interest. Please contact me at Andrew (at) CedarWoodsFarm.ca if you’d like me to let you know for next year. Updated info will appear here of course.

I’m currently working on the details for some lamb that will be available for sale. I will be buying the lamb from friends of ours and then having it butchered for sale. Contact me if you’d like to hear more.

    Hi,
Looking for plants and came across your farm. Am very interested in filling my freezer with naturally raised beef. Will you have any for sale this year and is Montreal close enough for shipping? Thanks so much.

    Janine,
I will have more grass fed beef for sale in about a month or so. I have been selling “split quarters” which is half of a side of beef. I keep the round steak roasts to use at our restaurant. The last steer gave beef packages that were about 100 pounds of finished meat. My costs are going up so I’m not sure of the price, likely around $750. I hang my beef longer which adds to the taste. These are mature steers so the marbling has had time to develop. It’s mighty tasty!

    cheers,
    Andrew
